Carol Sanzone is a Level II Reiki practitioner. She has been trained in the Usui method of Reiki and has worked with Betty Brooks for the past 4 years. Carol has a Bachelor’s degree from Loyola College in Maryland and received her teaching certification from Towson University. She has been teaching first grade for over 20 years. In 2001, Carol’s life changed when her husband of 24 years lost his battle to stomach cancer. She joined an online support group for widows and widowers and became a moderator for that group as well as attending many retreats across the country. She is co-author of the book, The Journey: A Journey of Love, of Light, and of Spirit, which is the journal of her husband during the last months of his life as well as her own reflections. Carol has had articles published in the magazine, Angels on Earth, which is an affiliate of Guideposts magazine. She has presented workshops for grief and loss support, as well as administering Reiki with individual clients. Ms. Sanzone has a strong belief that life is a process of learning and growing from everyone that you meet.  Reiki has been a major part of her life’s journey and has opened up a spiritual world that has brought her peace and comfort through some very troubling times. Carol feels that it has been an honor and a blessing to be a part of this Healing Center and hopes that all who pass through these doors will find an inner peace and healing of mind, body and spirit from their experience.
